With all the excitement around Jessie Hurley’s Technique Tag classes, she decided to incorporate one of her favourite techniques into a card class!We will be using Ranger, Imagine & Stampendous embossing powders to
“Paint with embossing powders”.Jessie will show you how easy it is to emboss stamped images perfectly, while creatingmulti coloured images that will delight your eyes!

Step by Step Watercolouring Class

Learn how to colour with either water based markers or watercolour pencil crayons in this technique packed class. Try out 2 popular theories on how to colour with shadows, flowers, try out skin tones and animal colours.

This is NOT A CARDMAKING class but a COLOURING class

Learn how to colour step by step: FLOWERS, CRITTERS, etc… as well as create wonderful watercoloured backgrounds.

Get comfortable with all those glorious pens or pencils that you have. Please choose the class that best suits your needs: either watercolour pencil crayons or water based markers class. We will also demo both Prima watercolour pencils and Zig’s Clear
Colour pens for you to check out and try. This is a COLOURING TECHNIQUE CLASS ONLY, so you will complete coloured images only.

Each Participant must bring to class:
–  Water colour pencils, sharpened and ready to colour with OR Water based markers (Zig Clean Colour pens,Tombow markers)
–  1 or 2  water brushes or small watercolouring paintbrushes
– Small container for water

“Fabulous Frantage” Technique Card Class

Jessie Hurley has created an ALL NEW card class that incorporates a couple of the techniques from her Tag Classes!  She will show you how easily you can include FAST techniques into your Christmas Cards this year!
You will learn how to emboss with Frantage, how to embed stamps into Frantage, and her favourite, the Stardust Technique.
Jessie will also be incorporating Distress Ink techniques using Tim Holtz stencils, so as usual this class is chock full of fabulous information and great tips!  Be sure to reserve your spot soon, as space will fill quickly!

Who doesn’t love Lawn Fawn’s Christmas release? Come and create 4 gorgeous cards full of sparkle, pops of colour and adorable animals. Learn the basics of watercolouring with various mediums including Zig Clean Colour pens, Tombow markers and watercolour pencils. Learn the mechanics behind shaker cards and peek a boo slider cards. This class is designed to be completed in the allotted time. However depending on technique and crafting level, some colouring may have to be completed at home.

Each Participant must bring to class:
– Adhesive: double sided tape (Sookwang or tape runner)
– 3-D foam pop up dots, mini glue dots
– Clear drying glue i.e.Tombow multi or Best glue ever or
Glossy Accents, etc…)
– 1 or 2 fine waterbrushes or watercolour brushes
– Stickles in clear glitter, Xmas red and holly green
– 4 dimes (for slider cards)
– Scissors, tweezers
– Wet wipes
– Colouring medium of either Clear Colour pens, Tombow or
water colour pencils (images will be stamped on watercolour paper)

“Chigiri-e” Japanese Art Class

(Other designs available at class)
Technique is applicable to pictures or cards

Chigiri-e is a traditional Japanese art using hand dyed Japanese paper called Washi. It is torn into different shapes and sizes of paper to glue onto a board or card front to form a picture. Visually it looks like an oil painting or water colour painting, but it is all made with paper. In the class, you will be making a picture  size of 18cm & 26cm.
This technique can easily be used in cardmaking.

Each Participant must bring to class: 
Pen & paper to take notes. Everything else is supplied.
