“Chigiri-e” Japanese Art Class

(Other designs available at class)
Technique is applicable to pictures or cards

Chigiri-e is a traditional Japanese art using hand dyed Japanese paper called Washi. It is torn into different shapes and sizes of paper to glue onto a board or card front to form a picture. Visually it looks like an oil painting or water colour painting, but it is all made with paper. In the class, you will be making a picture  size of 18cm & 26cm.
This technique can easily be used in cardmaking.

Each Participant must bring to class: 
Pen & paper to take notes. Everything else is supplied.

the Penny Black floral stamps have captured our imagination!

Jessie has created an ALL NEW class featuring these beautiful stamps and dies while incorporating her much loved Inka Gold techniques!

In this workshop, she will showcase the Inka Gold Background technique, as well as how to properly stamp using Inka Gold, watercolouring stamped images and the application of Inka Gold on die cuts. With all these new techniques, this class is sure to fill up quickly, please reserve your spot soon!
